Everybody seems to be asking me the same questions lately, as in who's story is coming next, what am I working on now that the Guzzi Duet will be ending in August, what book is currently being written. I mean, they all follow the same path of ARE YOU WRITING CROSS NOW?
Really, ya'll ain't subtle at all.
But I do love you, really. *winks*
So what is coming next?
I don't know how long this post is going to be, so that's why I am writing it on the blog. It's going to take a bit of space, plus I would like for my loves over on Goodreads *waves* to see it as well, and I can kind of get the blog post over there, too. As I have seen some reviews on Bloodlines, Guzzi and whatnot asking about this ... READ: asking about Cross.
Man, that boy has some of ya'll right up in arms, huh?
He's going to be fun, no worries.
WHAT IS COMING NEXT:
Cross + Catherine
It'll be two novels, likely the first around 60ish-k, the second longer, anywhere from 70-85k, depending on how much this boy talks. And he does talk, a lot. More than his dad did, but he says very nice words. Ha.
Look out for:
Always (This novel takes place from a very young teenage years right up until Cross and Catherine are 21-22 years old)
Revere (This novel starts about the time we saw in the Legacy prequel)
Clearly, these characters have OLD history. As in, super old history with one another. I mean, from Dante we saw him mention his daughter texting a "Donati boy" when she was 13, and at that point, I had not even picked Cross's name. C+C was always meant to be. There is a lot to get through. A lot of shit happened. I want to tell it all--it's the only way to do this complex, difficult, amazing couple any kind of justice. I do so enjoy getting to move characters from teenagehood to adulthood, especially as a soulmate sort of thing.
So this will be TWO (2) Legacy novels for this couple. They will likely be the ONLY Legacy couple to get two fucking novels, so ya'll better savor every damn word, haha.
A thing to NOTE about the LEGACY series:
The Legacy series is comprised of STANDALONE novels that deal with second generation characters from older series. Each Legacy story is STANDALONE and can be read as such; readers DO NOT need to have read previous Legacy novels, or older series to enjoy, understand, or follow along. These books from the novellas, to the short novels, to the full lengths will all be standalones. Start with any book, enjoy from there.
This note will be on each and every Legacy blurb as a reminder to readers, and for new readers who might want to pick up the books but are unsure because it is a part of a series.
There will NOT be a series tag on these Legacy books, they will simply have Legacy in the title and on the cover.
Revere; A Legacy Novel
So, loves, if you want to read these Legacy books, just pay attention to the titles or covers to know which ones are Legacy titles. That's all you gotta do, really.
Some Legacy titles will fall under more thriller/crime/romantic suspense and some will be more contemporary romance. It depends on the couple and the story. This is only one reason why I will not be attaching them all as a series on vendors, Goodreads, etc.
Expect the first book for Cross and Catherine to publish in October. If all goes well, the second book will also publish in October, but if not, November for the second book.
Beyond Cross and Catherine, what's coming next?
Camilla and Tommaso.
Their book is called Effortless. It IS a Legacy title.
At this point, it could be novella length, it's more likely to be short novel--50k and up. It will be contemporary + erotic romance, as the title sounds exactly as the book will feel. Rather effortless for this couple. Tommaso is instalove all over Cam, a bit of angst and emotional heavy tossed in, and it'll be a fun, smutty, contemp read.
Depending on how fast Cross and Catherine come out of my mind, expect Cam and Tom around Nov/Dec.
More Legacy novels.
Madame Moll. Erin and I are about 75% done, we're working to get this out this year, but things have been busy for her and I.
Oh, annnndd ...
Hopefully a Marcello first generation Christmas novella for the holiday! Hopefully. I have it all plotted out, so it should be an easy write, and I really miss my original brothers.
Also as a bonus for those who have already read Entangled and keep asking:
YES THE GUZZI BROTHERS WILL EVENTUALLY GET TITLES.
Where? When? Will it be series? Will some be in the Legacy titles?
Ha, you ask too much. *winks*
All right, loves, any more questions?
Author. Canadian. Mother. Lover. I write about bad guys who fall for their women and fall hard.
